01.

Timeline

Let's look at our calendars and set a date! I try to remain flexible as I know how busy life can get. Give me a few options of when you are most free and we shall go from there...

02.

Contract and Payment

Most things are done online, and I find it easier to keep record of everything in email form, if possible. Contracts will be sent this way and I accept a few different forms of payment, including cash, Zelle, Paypal and Venmo. A non-refundable deposit to book your session is required for every type of session.

03.

Planning and Session

Once session dates are booked, I will guide you through the process by sending helpful tips on what to wear, location ideas (if that is TBD), how to handle energized or tired children (lol), etc.

You will also receive reminder emails prior to your session date.

04.

Galleries and Prints

First, your online proofing gallery link will be emailed to you, with instructions on choosing a date for your ordering appointment. We can meet in person or virtually via zoom, Facetime, etc.

FAQ

How many proofs will we receive?

It all depends on the type of session you have booked and the duration of that session. It can range from seasonal mini-sessions (approximately 30 proofs) to large, extended family sessions (around 50-60 proofs) and everything in between.

How should we dress for our family session?

What you feel most comfortable in is going to be best displayed in these images. But, again, it all depends on the setting of the location and the style you are going for. I will have helpful tips sent to you via email after your session is booked!

What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?

Definitely the sooner the better, while baby is super new, very sleepy and easy to transition from arms, to bed, from outfit to swaddle, etc.
I recommend between 5-14 days old for the smoothest in-home session.

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

I don't either! You are not alone! Not to worry, I will get to know you a little bit before our session so that we can feel as comfortable as possible on that day. I will guide you through the session step by step so you won't have the "what do I do with my hands?" sort of problem ;-) Hee, hee!
